GDPR Compliance Statement Goes Live for EU Agency Access
KALO IQ today published a formal GDPR compliance statement covering its handling of EU-resident data, opening the platform to EU-based agencies plus brand teams working with US creators. The statement covers data subject rights, lawful processing bases plus cross-border transfer mechanisms.
What the statement covers
The full document published at kaloiq.com/gdpr covers seven topics: lawful processing bases, data subject rights, data retention, sub-processors, international transfers, breach notification plus the appointed EU representative.
What is and is not affected
Creator profile data in the KALO IQ database is sourced from public social media plus minimal-friction signals. The statement covers brand-side user data (the people who log into KALO IQ workspaces) plus creator-side interaction data.
EU residents using KALO IQ workspaces can now exercise full GDPR data subject rights through a self-serve workflow in account settings.
Sub-processor disclosure
The statement discloses all sub-processors that handle EU resident data plus the lawful basis for each transfer. AWS US-East serves as the primary infrastructure. Standard Contractual Clauses cover the US transfer.
