KALO IQ ("we", "us", "our") operates the influencer marketing platform at kaloiq.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and the rights you have over it. We built KALO IQ for US brands. We treat the data you trust us with the way we would want ours treated.

For creator data shown in the platform, we collect publicly available profile and performance information from the platforms creators publish on.

We use your information to provide the platform, process payments, respond to support requests, send service updates and improve the product. We use aggregate usage data to understand how the platform performs. We do not sell your personal information. We use it to run the service you signed up for and nothing you would not expect.

How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us run the platform, such as payment processors, hosting providers and analytics tools. These providers may only use the data to perform services for us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public. We use advertising partners for the marketing described in the advertising section below. We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising and remarketing

For this advertising, KALO IQ and the ad platform may act as joint controllers of the data involved. Each platform also uses the data under its own privacy terms. You can opt out of personalized advertising directly: through Google Ads Settings, through your Meta ad preferences or through the industry opt-out pages at the Network Advertising Initiative and Your Online Choices. Categories of personal information (California / CPRA)

For California residents under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, the categories of personal information we collect are: identifiers (such as name, email and company), commercial information (such as billing and subscription records), internet activity (such as usage and device data) and professional information (such as your role at a brand or agency). We collect this from you directly and automatically through your use of the platform. We use it for the business purposes described above. We disclose it only to the service providers described below, who act on our instructions. We have not sold or shared personal information as those terms are defined under the CPRA. We do not process sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

Creator data and your privacy choices

KALO IQ shows information about creators that we collect from publicly available sources on the platforms where creators publish, together with our own verification signals. We process this to provide a business directory and analytics service to our customers, which is our legitimate interest and the purpose for which the data is made available publicly. If you are a creator and want to know what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or request its removal from the platform, email privacy@kaloiq.com and we will handle your request as the law requires. We honor verified removal requests from creators.

Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax and operational requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information. You may also object to or restrict certain processing. US state privacy laws such as the CCPA give California residents specific rights over their data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we will respond within the time the law requires.

Security
