KALO IQ is the only influencer marketing platform built for US brands. We were founded in December 2015 in Beverly Hills and today serve 200+ paying brands across DTC, eCommerce and SaaS. Our database holds 10 million hand-verified US creators. Zero bots. Zero fake followers. Verified by humans, not scrapers.
We are a small team that ships every week and writes everything down. Most of the company defaults to async. We hold one all-hands a month and one team retreat a year.
Where will I work?
KALO IQ is remote first. Our HQ is at 9100 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 333, Beverly Hills. We hold one team retreat a year in person. The rest of the year you work where you do your best work.

US first, always
Every decision serves US brands and US creators. We do not chase global volume. We pick one market and we do it better than anyone.
- We do not list a creator we cannot verify is American
- We do not take on customers we cannot serve from a US-data lens
- We say no to features that dilute the focus
Ship the week, not the quarter
Six-month roadmaps that never ship are an enterprise disease. We ship something every week. If you built something Monday a customer used it Friday.

- Done is better than perfect. Shipped is better than done
- Kill projects fast. Move people to what is working
Verify by human
Every creator in our database is hand verified. No scrapers, no AI vibes. The slow expensive part is the moat. Anyone can scrape 10 million profiles. We refuse to.
- We will spend more money to be more correct
- We will tell a customer no when the data is not clean
- We will publish our methodology so customers can audit us
Write things down
If it is not written it did not happen. Decisions go in Notion. RFCs in Notion. Post-mortems in Notion. Meetings have agendas or they do not happen.
- Every project has a one-page brief before it starts
- Every meeting ends with action items and an owner
- We default to async. Sync time is precious
No-ego doers
The work matters more than the credit. We do not run a brilliant-jerk policy. If you are smart and rude you are not a fit, no matter the resume.

Numbers over opinions
Pick a metric before the project starts. Hit it or kill it. Opinions without numbers are noise. Numbers without context are a different kind of noise.

What is the team like?
KALO IQ is led by James Carter (CEO), Michael Thompson (CTO), Emily Johnson (COO) and a co-founder team. We are 50 people across the US, UK, India, Canada and Europe. We hire for skill and character, not geography. We celebrate unique differences and we hire people of every background.

$1,200 once on signup. $400 a year after that. Chair, monitor, desk. You pick. We pay.

$1,800 a year for courses, conferences, books or coaching. No approval required under $300.
New laptop
MacBook Pro or your choice of equivalent on day one. Refreshed every 3 years.
AI tools stipend
$84 a month for any AI tools you use. ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, Cursor, Lovable. Pick your stack.
Flexible time off
No set limit. Take the time you need. Minimum 22 days a year is required. We mean it.
Profit sharing
When we hit our annual revenue target every full timer gets a profit share check. Same pool, same formula.
Parental leave
16 weeks fully paid for all new parents, biological or adoptive. Plus a 4-week ramp back at 80% load.
Annual team retreat
One in-person retreat a year. 6 days. We pay for everything. Last year was Lisbon. Next year is undecided.
Coworking stipend
$140 a month if you want a coworking space or coffee shop budget. No questions.
Sabbatical at 5 years
4 weeks of paid sabbatical after 5 years at KALO IQ. Take it. Come back. Tell us what you learned.
