James spent several years running influencer campaigns for mid-market DTC brands. The problem he kept hitting was the same one: paying for reach that turned out not to be real. Fake followers, overseas audiences misrepresented as American, engagement from bots. He built KALO IQ to solve it at the data layer. Every creator in the database is verified as a real active American before they appear in any search result. That is the founding principle and it has not changed since 2015.

Background

Before founding KALO IQ, James worked in performance marketing with a focus on US consumer brands. He has been based in Beverly Hills since 2017, where the company is headquartered at 9100 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 333. He works with a team of 50 people across 16 countries.
