How do you filter influencers by demographics properly? I keep finding creators who look right but their audience is all wrong.

Filter the audience, not the creator. A US-based creator can have an audience that is mostly overseas, so screen on audience location first, then age, gender and interests to match who you actually sell to. Use a database that exposes verified audience demographics, since self-reported numbers lie. KALO IQ checks the audience data, so you filter on real figures, then layer engagement and niche on top to get your shortlist.

Filter the audience, not the creator

A US creator can have an overseas audience. Screen who actually follows them.

Start with location

If you ship US-only, audience location is the first filter, before anything else.

Layer age and interests

Then narrow by audience age, gender and interests to match your buyer.

Verify, do not trust

Self-reported demographics lie. Use a database that checks the real numbers.

Audience location is the filter everyone skips and regrets. I have seen US brands pay creators whose followers were 70 percent overseas.

Self-reported audience data is fiction half the time. Filter on verified numbers or you are just guessing with a budget attached.

We filter audience first, engagement second, follower count last. That order alone fixed most of our wasted spend.

Search the US creator database

Filter over 100 million verified US creators by niche, audience demographics and engagement, then launch in days, not weeks.
