My follower count and views have been flat for months no matter what I post. How do I break out of a plateau?

A plateau almost always means you got comfortable, the content that grew you stopped surprising people. Audit it honestly: are your hooks still sharp or are you coasting? Go back to your best performing posts, work out why they hit, then make more in that vein. Test a format you have been avoiding. Double down on engagement, reply and show up in your niche again. Plateaus are normal at every level, so treat it as a signal to experiment, not proof you have peaked.

Comfort causes plateaus

The content that grew you went stale. Plateaus are usually a freshness problem.

Audit your hooks

Coasting on weak openers is the most common quiet killer of reach.

Mine your winners

Study why your best posts hit, then make more in that direction.

Test something new

A format you have avoided often breaks the stall. Experiment on purpose.

My plateau broke the week I tried a format I had been avoiding for a year. Comfort was the whole problem, not the algorithm.

I went back through my top ten posts looking for the pattern, then made five more like them. Reach moved within a month.

Plateaus hit at every level, not just beginners. It is a signal to experiment, never proof you have maxed out. Keep testing.
