KALO IQ data sources: where creator data comes from

Follower count, recent post count and post dates come from publicly available social media data, updated on a rolling basis. For active creators (posting at least weekly), this data updates every 7-14 days. For less active creators it updates monthly.

This is the same category of data available to anyone who visits a creator's public profile. KALO IQ aggregates and structures it so you can search and filter across 10 million profiles simultaneously rather than visiting each one manually.

Engagement rate in KALO IQ is calculated from actual post performance data - likes, comments and shares on recent posts divided by follower count. It is not self-reported by creators or estimated from follower count benchmarks.

KALO IQ calculates engagement rate from the last 20 posts for each creator. This means a creator who had a viral post 6 months ago does not carry inflated engagement rate data into your search results today.

Audience demographic data - US audience percentage, age range and gender split - comes from two sources depending on the creator's presence in the KALO IQ verified database.

Verified creators: Audience demographics are confirmed by the verification team through a combination of engagement analysis (language, location tags and commenter geography) and available platform audience data. These are accurate to within approximately 5 percentage points.

Unverified or imported creators: Audience demographics may be estimated using algorithmic inference from public data. These estimates are flagged in the profile as "estimated" so you know the data source.

Outreach email addresses come from public creator profiles (bio links, contact pages) and from creator opt-ins to the KALO IQ creator directory. Email addresses sourced from public profiles are verified as deliverable before appearing in the database. Addresses that bounce are removed and flagged for re-verification.

KALO IQ does not purchase contact data from third-party brokers. All email addresses in the platform come from public creator-published sources or verified creator opt-ins.
