100M verified US creator database, faster discovery
v5.3 ships the 100 million verified US creator milestone, refines the discovery experience and patches three issues that surfaced in v5.2. Full changelog below.
100 million verified US creators
The platform database hit 100M hand-verified US creators on April 22, 2026. Coverage breaks down as 42M Instagram, 31M TikTok, 18M YouTube plus 9M X (Twitter). All profiles pass the 10-person verification team review before listing.
- Database grew 6.7x over the prior 24 months
- Verification throughput averages 3.5M new profiles per month
- Rejection rate of 22% on initial submissions, mostly bots plus non-US residency
- Search results now show
Verifiedbadge on every result row
Faster discovery search
Search response time on combined-filter queries (niche plus location plus engagement plus follower band) dropped from a median 1.4s to 0.42s. The index was rebuilt with a denormalized layout that handles 4-filter intersections without a follow-up sort pass.
- Median query time: 1.4s → 0.42s
- P95 query time: 4.1s → 1.1s
- Concurrent queries supported per workspace doubled
Niche filter precision
The niche taxonomy expanded from 87 categories to 142. Sub-niches like "clean beauty" plus "tween skincare" plus "performance athletes" are now selectable directly instead of requiring a free-text refinement search after.
Engagement rate calculator stale cache
The free engagement rate calculator was caching follower counts for up to 6 hours after a creator handle was last queried. Now invalidates within 60 seconds.
CSV export missing audience location column
Creator list CSV exports were omitting the audience-location field on Growth plan accounts created after March 1, 2026. All exports now include the full schema.
Campaign dashboard ROI rounding
Campaign ROI percentages displayed with three decimal places on the dashboard but rounded to one decimal in CSV export, causing reconciliation mismatches. Both displays now use two decimals consistently.
Coming next
v5.4 will ship deeper Shopify integration improvements plus the AI-assisted shortlist builder currently in private beta. Target release: mid-June 2026.
For developers
No breaking API changes in v5.3. The search response shape was extended with a verified_at timestamp on creator objects. Old clients ignore the field. Full API changelog available in the knowledge base.
