We send out free product to creators and barely anyone posts. How do we run seeding so it actually gets us content?

Seeding works when it is targeted, not a mass mailout. Pick creators whose audience matches yours and who already post in your category, send a product genuinely worth filming with a personal note and no demands, then follow up lightly. Expect only a fraction to post, that is normal, so seed enough volume to hit the numbers you want. Track who posts and move your best organic posters into paid deals. Mass-mailing strangers and hoping is how seeding budgets get wasted.

Target, do not spray

Seeding to the wrong creators is expensive litter. Match the audience first.

Make it post-worthy

Send something genuinely worth filming, with a personal note and zero demands.

Expect partial posting

Only a share will post unpaid. Seed enough volume to hit your target anyway.

Convert the posters

Whoever posts well organically is your shortlist for paid campaigns.

Personalize the note and skip the demands. Boxes that feel like a gift get posted. Boxes that feel like an ask get binned.

Seed three times more creators than the posts you need. A 20 to 30 percent post rate is healthy for unpaid seeding, plan for it.

Whoever posts well off a free box is your next paid creator. Seeding is really just a cheap audition for your roster.
